LunarFest

Sherry's lanterns have lit up LunarFest more than once. In 2023 her lantern Purple Paradise stood at the Frederick Varley Art Gallery in Unionville. In February 2024, Let Your Spirit Soar showed at the Varley — and that November the lanterns lit up Nathan Phillips Square in Toronto for Cavalcade of Lights.

When the lanterns came to downtown Toronto, the show was billed only as an Indigenous art exhibit, with no artists named. Sherry insisted: if the artists couldn't be named, her work wasn't coming downtown. Toronto stepped up — and put each artist's name on their lantern.
